Back in the Day

Before you cast your ballot on the poor quality, I offer this vindication: this picture is OLD. I happened across it while spelunking through the fathoms-deep crevasse that contains my old doodles, and decided that it must be shaded. So here you are.

Fair Ranciel, lost to the burning frost
We'll ne'er see her more
Our comrades fell to that spawn of hell
On fair Iurha's spotless shore
My body shakes with pain of loss
And my spirit cries for grief
The air resounds with the dreaded sound
Of my sword waking from it's sheath

I hear my bones, they wail and groan
I've ground them nigh to dust
I hear the words my bitter foe
Did utter in disgust
But though our emblem lies in shame
It now shines in our eyes
We press the fight, till Djura's light
May shine over Sentry's Rise
