Description

It has been quite some time since I last created a picture without even bothering put in a background. I figured it didn't truly need one to get it's point across. Though, to give it at least a bit of dimension, I added some beam shadows, as if they were standing in a great cathedral-like hall, for if this picture did have a background, that would be it.

One of the less talked about side effects of being a reclusive, obsessive, and obscenely powerful archmage is that, as a result of the aforementioned attributes, your contact and interactions with children are often quite limited in nature. It had been over four hundred and sixty years since Raasmhus had last seen a child, and this was his first attempt ever at trying to raise any. Many challenges he had hitherto not considered quickly became clear, the greatest of these being in the field of education. The twitchy little things had the shortest attention span he had ever seen. Subject Extra was tolerable in that regard, at least. She kept mostly to the tomes and treatises, seemingly lost in them. But she could always answer his questions when asked. If that was how she learned, then so be it. Subject Twenty-one, however... was mentally taxing. Never was this more apparent then during one of his frequent narratives on physics and the laws governing the distribution of force comparative to the reaction thereof. By all appearances she was hanging on to every word: eyes wide and alert, body tilted forward attentively. Suddenly her hand shot up in question. Always willing to clarify on a point, for to deepen her understanding of the subject, the archmage paused in his seminar. "What would you know, that I have not told thee?" Twenty-One put her small hand down, then voiced her quandary. "Why do some bugs stink but others don't?"

(I drew this while listening to a piano version of "Numb" by Linkin Park.) Enjoy!

I almost didn't need a description for this one.

His expression says it all.

"Where do these thoughts originate??"

Although, half of my fascination comes from the descriptions you provide, so I still need those :p

I like the robes covering his armor.

It sort of creates a balance between the hardness of the armor and the softness of the cloth.
